                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSING OF VARIOUS STREETS IN THE NORTH
                   CHATTANOOGA AREA MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
                   HEREIN ON SUNDAY, APRIL 5, 1992 FOR THE
                   PRESENTATION OF THE "SUPER CITIES WALK"
                   UNDER THE SPONSORSHIP OF THE SETENGA CHAPTER
                   OF THE MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS SOCIETY.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of the southbound curblane of Veterans Bridge
       between Frazier Avenue ramp and 4th Street, Fehn Drive between
       Frazier Avenue and River Street, River Street between Fehn Drive
       and Frazier Avenue, Frazier Avenue between River Street and 
Island
       Avenue, Sterling Avenue between Island Avenue and Carroll Lane,
       Carroll Lane between Sterling Avenue and Mississippi Avenue,
       Mississippi Avenue between Carroll Lane and Young Avenue,
       Dorchester Road between Young Avenue and Devonshire Avenue,
       Riverview Road between Dorchester Road and Falmouth Road, 
Falmouth
       Road between Riverview Road and Sunset Road, and Sunset Road
       between Falmouth Road and Hixson Pike on Sunday, April 5, 1992
       from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for the presentation of the "Super
       Cities Walk" under the sponsorship of the SETENGA Chapter of the
       Multiple Sclerosis Society provided that the sponsor shall set 
out
       and pick up all barricades and traffic signs in accordance with
       the traffic control plan attached hereto and shall provide at all 

       times an access lane for emergency and residential vehicles.
